Angela loves hairdressing. It has always been her desire to have a career in this exciting industry. She graduated from Empire beauty school in Peekskill. While in school, Angela took first place in their color completion and eagerly participated in the hair and makeup during production for the film Mildred Pierce with Kate Winslet.

While attending cosmetology school, Angela worked at Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa as an assistant with the desire to become a stylist and hair colorist. Her hard work and determination paid off as she enjoys being a rising star in the salon.

After years of working at Richard Scott Salon, Angela continues her training at the Goldwell Institute and Wella Studio in Rockefeller plaza. Her classes included advanced color, advanced styling, men and women haircuts and she is certified for the Lasio, Coppola and La Brasiliana Keratin Treatment. The hard work, determination, outgoing personality in addition to great customer service and passion for the art of hairdressing makes Angela a great well rounded stylist.

Christina’s love for the beauty industry began early on in her life. She eagerly acknowledged the opportunity to take cosmetology as an elective course in high school. She decided without a doubt to make cosmetology her career goal and she conscientiously pursued that desire. Immediately after completing her formal education, Christina landed a job as an apprentice hairstylist in a salon in Mahopac New York. Christina spent the next few years focusing on developing her skills. She was recognized for her unique talent and was issued a chair with the position of stylist/colorist and she ceased the opportunity to expand her clientele.

Christina attended many advance educational seminars. Christina has achieved certification in Sexy Hair Concepts and as a Redken Specialist just to name a few. This advanced education help to perfect her talents and expertise in hair cutting, hair color, and highlighting techniques. With the help of Joseph Norris (Co-owner Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa) and continued education by the Great Lengths Company, Christina also specializes in the art of Hair Extensions.

Christina became an accomplished hairstylist and colorist in Mahopac, Briarclif Manor, and now reaching her maximum potential in the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa in Mount Kisco New York. Chrissy pays close attention to consultation with her client’s to make them look and feel there very best. By using her creative ability and adding a few foils to accent your hair color, dramatic changes to bring out ones personality or creating a cosmopolitan look, Christina will always satisfy her client’s needs. Danielle like many hairdressers knew that she wanted to pursue hairdressing at a very young age. You might say it was in her blood.

Danielle started her schooling at Northern Westchester BOCES in Yorktown NY. She was enrolled there in conjunction with her high school studies. With a bright future and determination, Danielle participated in many hair competition's and proudly graduated on the National Technical Honor Society from BOCES. As a very focused student, Danielle was fully licensed by the time she graduated from her high school. Immediately following her graduation with honors and many competition ribbons in her possession, she went on to work for the Elizabeth Arden Company. There she took all the offered education and advanced in her hairdressing techniques.

In 2005, Danielle joined the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa family of staff as a hairdresser assistant. With a strong work ethic and unparallel enthusiasm she immediately became a personal assistant to Ricky Mason, founder and co-owner of the salon. Ricky took Danielle under his wing and shared his techniques and thought process so that she could service his clients with confidence and talent in the event that he was unavailable.

Since then, she continued education on a regular basis and studied in California at the Institute of Courage. There she learned under the master stylist (the owner of sexy hair) Michael O'Rourke, who single handedly taught her various new hair cutting techniques. She has also taken other classes taught by his educators. They include Structure in Motion, advanced cutting technique class. Her coloring background education is extensive with Framesi, Goldwell, Redken and Wella.  She travels to the Wella studio in NYC numerous times during the year to update all her coloring education.

Today, Danielle is a top stylist in all aspects of the salon. She has made herself available on location for weddings, and other formal events which has propelled her to being the busy stylist/colorist that she always wanted to be.  She also started a new journey with Wella as one of their training specialist's as of early 2013.

Guissell isn't just a Hairstylist; she breathes it and wears it with pride every day of her fashionista life. She found herself involved in the hair industry by the time she was 20 years old. Guissell started assisting multiple great hairstylists at a local hair salon in Mount Kisco, by the time she was 21 she was ready to take her job to the next level by attending to the Northern Westchester Beauty School in Peeskill, NY. Guissell has that unique personality that makes you want to go for that magazine cover look, with her amazing appearance, charisma, differentiated style and plus, she can take you from a normal hair day to a red carpet look if you need to. Aside from keeping up with her wardrobe, not to mention the collection of shoes she might have, Guissell also updates her color techniques and hair cutting techniques by attending P&G studio in NYC. Guissell hair philosophy is: "hair defines an important part of your personality".  Guissell loves cocktailing hair and fashion together and makes every client feel refreshed and rejuvenated after any of her services.

Jayne has been involved in the world of beauty since 1985. Prior to her employment at Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa, Jayne worked for several competitive, select salons in Westchester County including Adam and Eve Enterprises in Scarsdale and AV Hair design in Briarcliff Manor. Her expertise is specializing in highlighting, hair coloring and haircutting. Jayne also does remarkable formal or casual up-do's for any occasion. Jayne has also had the pleasure of participating in many charitable fundraisers, including the American Cancer Society, the Diabetes Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation and Locks of Love. Jayne has platform experience as well, working closely with the Nation Hairdressing and Cosmetology Association, The Aveda Corporation and with Goldwell International during Beauty trade shows at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC.

Jayne has experience with professional photographers for International magazine photo shoots, making models look their best. Jayne loves working on bat/bar mitzvahs and bridal parties and takes interest in making brides look their best on that special day.

When it comes to creativity, Jayne lives, eats and sleeps thinking about hairstyling and color! Her personality is warm, friendly, and she is a great listener! When Jayne works, she goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy. At Richard Scott Salon, Jayne is a remarkable senior stylist, always greeting and helping everyone during her down time! Jayne has a special gift when it comes to working with her clients. Joseph Norris is the Builder and Co-owner of Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa. His talents include hair cutting, hair coloring, hair replacement, salon construction and management.

Joseph Norris has been and still is a Sebastian Master Stylist for 25 years. He is involved with the beauty industry for over 30 years and has now directed his attention towards his hair replacement skills. We have a full service hair replacement center operated by Joseph with his personal attention given to every individual that comes into this area of our Day Spa and Salon.

Prior to Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa Joseph was a working partner in Adam & Eve Enterprises of Scarsdale,NY, a highly successful hair salon in lower Westchester. There he had many responsibilities that included running the hair replacement center and servicing his cut and color clientele both on the main salon and in private rooms for the clients that preferred to remain inconspicuous.

Prior to Adam & Eve Joseph owned and operated his First Westchester Based salon called V.I.P.Headliners located on Central Avenue in Yonkers, NY. There he ran a popular and exciting Salon with lots of energy with high style work as the trend. As a younger hairstylist with ambition, Joseph opened his first Salon located in The Bronx, NY and he named it JOSEPHS. The rest is history.

With a personality always characterized by originality, Liz Slaughter enthusiastically shifted from her original career trajectory towards a glowing legal career in favor of forming a company based on her true loves: beauty, glamour and adventure.  In a few short years her passions had blossomed into a successful business just as she had conceived many years prior. She was stimulated by her will to change the face of the beauty industry by challenging the true meaning of beauty and re-defining the freedom to express it. Liz has always believed that everyone is beautiful in their own individual way. Marcos came to the United States after years of training in Brazil, where his love for beauty emanated and his expertise in the Brazilian Blowout, developed. Matthew has been in the hair industry since 2002. To date, Matthew's artistic skills have lead him to be one of our top stylist at the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa. He graduated from the Yorktown BOCES cosmetology after 2 years of intense training and hard work with a passion for the art of hairdressing. While attending cosmetology school, Matthew worked for a local salon in Mt Kisco. After graduation school, Matthew had 2 options. One option was to become a full time stylist but Matthew had other plans. He chose a greater challenge that was even more rewarding and decided to take an offer as a 5th Avenue stylist for the Red Door Salon in Manhattan.

It was always a dream of Matthew to be a Master Stylist in Manhattan and that dream quickly became a reality. During the 2 years in NYC, Matthew acquired a clientele such as Broadway Star Andrea Mcardle, who was the first "Annie", the longest running Bell from "Beauty and the Beast". He also worked regularly on models for Dolce and Gabanna fashion shoots and shows.

Once the NYC lifestyle became routine Matthew turned back towards Westchester and was offered a job at a trendy salon in bedford. There he made a name for himself in the upscale area. Matthew came into the salon as Master Stylist and worked for 3 years building a tremendous clientele and honing in on his skills.

He soon after realized that he wanted to take his carreer to the next level and work in one of the Top salons in Westchester. There was only one salon that could come to his mind and he joined the team at the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa. When Matthew met Ricky Mason (Salon Owner) they hit it right off! Matthew loved the atmosphere and all of the employee's and they in turn, were happy to take him in.

Matthew specializes in trendy cuts and styles for men and women and can give you the look you desire. He also has a high demand for the Keratin Treatment, which he does to perfection.

Megan has had an artistic flair since childhood. These strong feelings and an interest in hair fashion led her towards the beauty industry. Megan attended and graduated from the Northern Westchester School for Cosmetology in 2003. This fine school maintains a strong connection with the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa and there was no doubt that Megan would one day become a Master Colorist there.

Once becoming a Licensed Cosmetologist, advancing her education appealed to Megan. She sought out education in hair color and Keratin Treatments. Megan prides herself on keeping her clients up to date with the seasonal changes as it pertains to their hair color and texture. She specializes in "natural" color, highlights, baliage techniques. Keeping this in mind Megan constantly partakes in extensive studies at the Goldwell Academy in Baltimore, the Wella Studio in NYC as well as Framesi education through DePasqual Academy.

Another aspect of Megan's expertise is the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. She helped launch and distribute the Agi Max Brazilian Keratin Treatment and has become the foremost BKT technician in the New York area. In addition to Agi Max Brazilian Keratin Treatment, Megan is an expert in the Coppola Keratin Complex system as well.

Nathalia has always had in interest in the beauty industry. She began her career by attending the Northern Westchester School of Cosmetology in Westchester County NY. After completing her schooling, Nathalia continued her education by taking extensive advanced color classes from Goldwell, Framesi, and haircutting classes under the supervision of Michael O'Rourke, owner of Sexy Hair Concepts and the Institute of Courage in California. In addition she has been well trained in Japanese Thermal Straightening.

With a special interest in fashion, runway, photo shoots and beauty shows, Nathalia has worked with ESPN Latino Magazine and Charles Nolan doing all hair and make up for the runway models at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. Nathalia has extensive experience in customized deep conditioning treatments for all hair types be it stressed, color treated or normal. Nathalia has been with Richard Scott Salon since its inception in 2003, first as an assistant and now she has worked her way up to be a highly respected Stylist/Colorist and chemical-services specialist. She continues with her education in all areas of the beauty industry and looks forward to continued success in the beauty industry.

Ricky is the co owner of the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa. He has been a talented stylist/hair colorist in Westchester NY since 1981.  By the age of 25 had earned a position of VP at Adam and Eve of Scarsdale. During this time, Ricky was an Associate for the ArTec Colorists Collection and platform articst for Aveda appearing numerous times at the International Beauty Trade Show in NYC. Now certified as Wella Master Color Expert, Ricky services his clients on a daily basis and looks forward to platform artistry once again. Ricky has a flair for curly hair. Sporting his own curly blonde locks, clients with curls immediately become confident that he understands their needs. Curls aren't his only forte'. Ricky is proficient with highlights, color blocking, marketing, business building, education, hair styling and color. In 1996, he founded Baliage Hair Salon in Hartsdale, NY. There he cultivated his talent along with his love for the art of hair color and hair design. For the next 8 years Ricky ran the color department and marketing of Baliage Salon. He educated the staff of this warm and petit salon and built the business up beyond his expectations. In fall 2002, his lifetime achievement was the inception of Westchester County's the largest premier Salon and Day Spa. Sabrina loves being a hairstylist and since a very young age, knew that she was going to work in the industry. She began her cosmetology training in high school at the Dutchess County Boces, in Poughkeepsie, New York.  By the time Sabrina graduated high school she was already a fully licensed hair stylist. Sabrina joined the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa in 2006 as the personal assistant to Christina Pestone.  Working by Christina’s side, Sabrina gained experience, learning techniques that can only be acquired through practice and experience. With a positive attitude and infectious smile, Sabrina is well liked by all of our clients and grows professionally with each day. Sabrina is focused, shows determination, has a strong work ethic and her love for hairstyling shines through every day. With this fine combination of positive qualities, Sabrina became a full time stylist and hair colorist very soon after joining Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa. Sabrina shows passion and strives to exceed the expectations of her clients. Sandy's career began in 1999 working in Bal Harbor and Miami Florida. More recently she has been working in Mt. Kisco since 2001. Sandy has a unique look and a unique view on trend and style. She was fortunate enough to serve an extensive apprenticeship under a Vidal Sassoon master hair cutter and learned the techniques of this progressive company.

Sandy specializes in precision cutting and follows the Vidal Sassoon philosophy:

"To work with hair in its natural state,
To treat hair as organic material,
To shape and balance hair,
To reflect the individual and reveal their beauty."

Sandy feels that communication between the client and stylist is essential and works closely with her clients to achieve the optimum style suited to them with regard to facial shape, hair type, texture and lifestyle.

Sandy has a love for "corrective cutting", working with her client to correct and/or adjust a style that is not appropriate for their lifestyle or is not suited to their face and hair texture. I love working with busy moms to help them into a style and color that looks great and is easy to achieve as well as maintain Sandy also likes working with teens and young adults who want trendy or edgy looks. She is skilled in men's hair cutting including barbering techniques classic men's cuts' as well as fades and current looks for boys and young men.

Victor Tripaldi was hired as Artistic Director for the Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa. He works full time Wednesday through Sundays as a Master Colorist and Master Stylist. Hailing form Italy but raised in the Bronx, Victor from an early age saw his only path in life would be a creative one, the romance of being an artist.  After completing High School and upon receiving his cosmetology license, Victor immediately began his apprenticeship at the Vidal Sassoon Academy/Salon in Manhattan, New York City. Opportunities then arose witch lead him to relocate to Amsterdam for several years and extensively traveling through out Europe. This experience exposed him to a completely different ideology and approach to doing hair! Victor's passion and expertise is equal between cutting hair and coloring hair.   His reputation for Blonds is staggering. With the John Casablanca modeling agency, he was exposed to women of all color, skin and hair. Victor’s work equals if not surpasses the top colorists in NYC and anywhere in our industry. In late 2002 Victor was given the opportunity contribute to the high quality of standard set by Mr. Mason and Mr. Norris.  The Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa constantly stay ahead of the industry through their alliance with P&G. This association demands the latest and most contemporary education in hair, which the industry has to offer. Victor's goal is to make the most contemporary statement possible within his client’s specifications. His work is unique, adventurous and fascinating.  Victor has been written up in publications including Journal News, Bedford Express and Westchester Magazine on his bonding/styling ability, as published on our website, Recent Media - The October 2005 issue.  His proficiency, enthusiasm and dedication never wanders and together with Richard and Joseph he begins his tenth year at Richard Scott Salon and Day Spa.
